We believe that if a community’s focus is strictly on care, they don’t care enough. At Thrive at Green Island, great care is just a by-product of bigger and better things.
Senior living was never so…lively. Thrive at Green Island has taken a radically different approach to senior living. For starters, if you’ve spent most of your life fulfilling obligations to family and society, you’re more than just ‘a senior’. You’re a hero. Now is the best time to kick up your heels, when you’ve got no major responsibilities or distractions, like a job, to take up your time. Your time is yours. And at Thrive at Green Island, we’ve created a community that helps you make the most of it.
Here, just off River Road in North Columbus, Georgia, older adults can build new and meaningful relationships, while they engage in new activities or old favorites that enrich their daily lives. And the property? Think of it as Georgia charm meets modern chic, with soaring ceilings in the restaurants and the lounge, and a fitness center with the most advanced equipment designed just for older adults. Outside, enjoy lovely courtyards and a walking trail. So put aside your perceptions of false teeth and joint rub. This is how senior living was meant to be lived.
Thrive team members (employees) come to work each day to build long lasting friendships with our older adults. Many of our key leaders bring valuable experience to our industry from other fields. Simply put, our leaders believe that if we treat our team well, they will, in turn, love our residents well.

One-size-fits-all is fine for hats and ponchos, but doesn’t cut it when it comes to senior living. That’s why Thrive has a variety of options to suit your specific needs.
Assisted Living is for people who value their independence and are competently in charge of their lives, but need some extra assistance with daily activities. Our kick-butt (pardon our French) team members are on call 24/7 to offer as much (or as little) help as you need.
Memory Care is for those who are living with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or other forms of changing cognitive abilities. Every member of the Tribute at One Loudoun team is NIDE (National Institute for Dementia Education) certified, this includes everyone from the chefs and housekeepers to the concierge and nurses. In a nutshell, it means we know what the heck we’re doing. And it means everyone on our team is trained to treat residents like people, not patients.
