We believe that if a community’s focus is strictly on care, they don’t care enough. At Thrive at Frederica, great care is just a by-product of bigger and better things.
When we designed Thrive at Frederica, we took a hard look at traditional senior living communities and went the opposite way. Because frankly, traditional senior living stinks. A person who works a lifetime and diligently raised a family, should have more to look forward to than living in a dark community that smells faintly of dentures and doilies. They deserve much better. Well, welcome to Much Better (also known as Thrive at Frederica). Where we have taken one of the Georgia island’s iconic buildings and expanded it into one of the hubs of St. Simons community life.
Here, your life has value. Here, you’re never too old to learn…or mentor, dance, and laugh. You’ll fast become friends with our team members, and other residents who share your interests. Our community itself is more like a resort, nestled among century-old oaks, in the heart of Georgia’s Golden Isles. Our world-class amenities stand out in the region, which really says something, given the high standards of the neighbors. Come and visit today. And get ready to start a new chapter of living.
Thrive team members (employees) come to work each day to build long lasting friendships with our older adults. Many of our key leaders bring valuable experience to our industry from other fields. Simply put, our leaders believe that if we treat our team well, they will, in turn, love our residents well.
Motivator. Deal maker. Intrapreneur. Eternal optimist. Daughter of famous ballet dancers. Person of faith.
Sales socialite. Marketing mogul. Happy hour hostess. Breeder of boys. Outdoor enthusiast. Veteran volunteer.
One-size-fits-all is fine for hats and ponchos, but doesn’t cut it when it comes to senior living. That’s why Thrive has a variety of options to suit your specific needs.
Assisted Living is for people who value their independence and are competently in charge of their lives, but need some extra assistance with daily activities. Our kick-butt (pardon our French) team members are on call 24/7 to offer as much (or as little) help as you need.
Memory Care is for those who are living with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or other forms of changing cognitive abilities. Every member of the Tribute at One Loudoun team is NIDE (National Institute for Dementia Education) certified, this includes everyone from the chefs and housekeepers to the concierge and nurses. In a nutshell, it means we know what the heck we’re doing. And it means everyone on our team is trained to treat residents like people, not patients.
