We believe that if a community’s focus is strictly on care, they don’t care enough. At Thrive at Jones Farm, great care is just a by-product of bigger and better things.
We’ve taken the blueprint for traditional senior living and put it right where it belongs—the trash can. It wasn’t hard. Traditional senior living communities stink. We believe that if a community’s focus is strictly on care, they don’t care enough.
At Thrive at Jones Farm, great care is just a by-product of bigger and better things. Located in Jones Valley just off Carl T. Jones Drive in Alabama, our promise is to give your loved one a day that is as purpose-filled as possible, and then string those days together to last a lifetime. Here, team members fast become friends. And days are filled with active lives, not mindless activities. We partner all of that with learning and laughter. We promise your loved one sunsets and starry nights that can be watched from our rooftop terrace. We promise them solitude as they walk along our scenic, secure trail.
Come visit us, and you’ll know why we say, this is where older adults come to live (and where their children wish they could live too).
Thrive team members (employees) come to work each day to build long lasting friendships with our older adults. Many of our key leaders bring valuable experience to our industry from other fields. Simply put, our leaders believe that if we treat our team well, they will, in turn, love our residents well.
One-size-fits-all is fine for hats and ponchos, but doesn’t cut it when it comes to senior living. That’s why Thrive has a variety of options to suit your specific needs.
Assisted Living is for people who value their independence and are competently in charge of their lives, but need some extra assistance with daily activities. Our kick-butt (pardon our French) team members are on call 24/7 to offer as much (or as little) help as you need.
Memory Care is for those who are living with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or other forms of changing cognitive abilities. Every member of the Thrive at Jones Farm team is NIDE (National Institute for Dementia Education) certified, this includes everyone from the chefs and housekeepers to the concierge and nurses. In a nutshell, it means we know what the heck we’re doing. And it means everyone on our team is trained to treat residents like people, not patients.
(Thrive partners with outside healthcare providers to enhance our overall community experience. Though these partners align with our core healthcare practices and philosophies to provide the best level of care for our residents, these partners may not require NIDE certification like our Thrive team members.)
