We believe that if a community’s focus is strictly on care, they don’t care enough. At The Georgian Lakeside, great care is just a by-product of bigger and better things.
Located near Atlanta in Roswell, Georgia, The Georgian Lakeside is built on the foundation that older adults deserve to do their best living right now. Here, boredom has been banished, and replaced with opportunities to learn, mentor, engage and reminisce with new friends. First among those friends will be our team members, who generally have the humor of Jerry Lewis and the charm of Clark Gable. Your loved ones will live in a community that’s modern, and well-lit by a four story wall of windows. And the view? Strictly primo. Our property sits beside a picturesque lake with an arcing fountain, and a secure nature trail. Don’t forget to bring your fishing pole. We’re located on Hardscrabble Road just off Highway 92 in Georgia.
This isn’t your father’s retirement home. And thank goodness for that.
The Georgian Lakeside’s team members (employees) come to work each day to build long lasting friendships with our older adults. Many of our key leaders bring valuable experience to our industry from other fields. Simply put, our leaders believe that if we treat our team well, they will, in turn, love our residents well.

One-size-fits-all is fine for hats and ponchos, but doesn’t cut it when it comes to senior living. That’s why Thrive has a variety of options to suit your specific needs.
Assisted Living is for people who value their independence and are competently in charge of their lives, but need some extra assistance with daily activities. Our kick-butt (pardon our French) team members are on call 24/7 to offer as much (or as little) help as you need.
Memory Care is for those who are living with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or other forms of changing cognitive abilities. Every member of The Georgian Lakeside team is NIDE (National Institute for Dementia Education) certified, this includes everyone from the chefs and housekeepers to the concierge and nurses. In a nutshell, it means we know what the heck we’re doing. And it means everyone on our team is trained to treat residents like people, not patients.
